Kat, Executive Chef

My photo
Kat's Korner
NY
My greatest inspiration comes from the ultimate chef, my mother. Growing up, and watching her in the kitchen, always intrigued me. I witnessed the love, care and joy she put into dishes she created for my dad and for the family. Believe it or not, my Dad never eats out, unless it's with the whole family. That's how much he appreciates my mom's cooking. Fine dining has always been one of my family's favorite pastimes. My curiosity was peaked by the story behind the dish on my plate. I would try to guess what ingredients are used and how it was prepared. But it didn't stop there, I greatly admired the accolades and acclaim received by the chef! That's why it's important for me to become a chef. I want to bring the passion and love for cooking into the hearts of others. I want to see the smile on their faces, the feeling of contentment and satisfaction you get from just plain good food.
